An interesting viking market in the south of Sweden.
2023 1 July: Viking Market at Foteviken, Höllviken Sweden
Last year after going to the viking market I loved it so much that I had to go back this year.
You can read more about the viking market from 2022 found at the link above.
Sadly unlike last year the weather was not the best.
Its was windy and at some point it started raining but I did manage to enjoy a few hours from the place before the rain started.

Waiting in line like a Swede.
If you saw the video in the 2022 section you would notice that since I had already filmed most of the interesting things from the 2022 viking market I was not really sure what else to show but I did manage to get some things.
As seen in the video below the rope kept breaking so all the 3 rounds were over very fast.
A Youtube short I recorded showing some Viking music.
This time using a bagpipe that you can see HERE.
Eventually it started to rain as I recorded HERE so all I really could do was to stay inside the cafeteria/shop area and look around.
Below you can see the images I took from inside the building including a sign that said that because of the wind the archery was cancelled and this book I really enjoyed about viking instruments and in particular about the huge horn.

After waiting for an hour or so it was time to head home even if it was raining but at least I did not get sunburned like in 2022.
As of writing this I am unsure if I will go back because most of it is the same including the games and I have already recorded most of it so whoever is reading this can enjoy.
I never buy anything because I find it all way to expensive.
Swedish prices in general are crazy so I prefer to buy things when I am in other countries.
A great place for any viking lover.
